[She is near the kitchen, standing on a little step-stool and decorating a tree. It's clearly not an in-door plant; there's snow dusted in its branches and mulch around its base. A little watering can shows that she's provided for the sudden removal from its native land, at least.

Oh, and aside from the decorations, there are presents! Only a few, but they are neatly wrapped and set to one side of the tree. Christmas time in Henrietta's world~]

[ACK. He lunges forward to catch her arm, trying to help her keep her balance. Then, he offers a smile.] Hey.

[Pauses to climb down from the stool] --Signorina Balalaika told me--

[picks out his present from the rest of them, a little box wrapped in red paper] --that even though people like us will never get away from killing, and that's just part of our life, I don't have to do it all the time. That's what you meant, right?

Really? I love Christmas. I only had one before, that I remember, but I didn't know anyone else in the warehouse then. It was a little lonely.

... Okay, in order. Really? You didn't have to. Another fallen angel? Where have I heard 'Laharl' before? Who's Balalaika, and— [He smiles a bit, sitting down at the base of the tree so they won't have to be at the awkward height difference the whole time.] Yeah, actually. That's pretty much it.

Um, yes, he said his name was Signore Crowley. He showed me his wings. [Awestruck moment] They weren't like Signorina Flonne's at all. Signorina Balalaika is in the mafia. I guess I was a little surprised... Most of the time the mafia are people we go after, but she's nice, too. This place... It's very different than... Than anything.

Huge. And all covered in black feathers. They were beautiful... He let me touch them, even. And then when he hid them again he just snapped his fingers and his suit fixed itself, like magic.

[Dawww. She is oblivious, but the mun thinks it's adorable. She is still awkwardly holding the present, trying to figure out how to give it to him. :\]

He said that they never keep them out any more because it's hard to get into cars and through doors. And that regular angels have no hygiene.
