[A young man appears on the Plane: dark hair, good cheekbones, sharp suit, and dark sunglasses. It's difficult to read an expression under the glasses, but one might dare call it flat-out shock by the way his face has gone white as a sheet. He stops in mid-stride, frozen temporarily by surprise.]

[Slowly, ever-so-slowly, he extends a foot backward, followed by the leg attached to it, followed by the rest of him. He steps back, and vanishes.]

[He reappears by taking a step forward again, still looking shocked but now with a bit of added curiosity. Another step backward and he vanishes yet again--]

[--and reappears once more.]

So it is real.
