Dossier Three

[Henrietta is back, sans overcoat, stockings and shoes. She's up to her ankles in water at the Doctor's beach, hugging herself and looking out over the water to try and spot the constellations Hei taught her. Her violin case is nearby on a rock, well out of the water but not out of arm's reach.]

Cassiopeia? ...no. [She cranes around, frowns, drops from the plane and comes back with a rifle scope, which she uses to hunt through the constellations again.] Um. Oh! There's the Big Dipper! Rico would really like this place.

...What the hell are you doing!?

[Walks over grabs the rifle scope and redirects it slightly to the left]

THAT'S the Big Dipper. Lord, what would you do without me, you poor innocent thing.
mercwamouth: (squint)

Well, aren't you just SMART, ya little scamp.

...Hey wait a minute? What on earth are you using? Are you crazy? Where'd you get that!? Jeez...

[Snags the rifle scope and smashes it on the ground. Drops out, drops back in with a much more impressive, high-tech rifle scope and hands it to Henrietta.]

Now THIS is much more appropriate for star-gazing. I once used this to bullseye wamp rats back home. See? Perfect. BOOM! Headshot!

...Oh jeez, well, that's no problem. I got my buddy Weasel working right this moment on something. I'll get him to fix this up for you in no time. Rico will never know.

[Drops out, drops in a couple minutes later with a fully repaired scope]

There, Weasel fixed it in record time, thanks to a certain amount of "motivation" from yours truly.

[Spins a handgun Clint Eastwood style]

Stargazing?

Sorry, they didn't really teach etiquette where I grew up. Plus I love the sounds things make when the smash. Tee hee.
lamb_of_gold: (whee!)

Did he? They're good to know. I can show you more if you'd like.

[Tail-between-legs-submissive]

Yes, ma'am.

Of course. [Wades in to stand near her, and points around] That long one is Draco. Normally you can see it curled around the North Star, but all the constellations here are out of place.
contract_star: (but they're not even real)

[Hei is lurking. And no, he is not inwardly squeeing over this, what are you talking about?]

[Watches her, smiling] Having fun stargazing?

Well, over the course of a night, they move - they seem to orbit the north star. They do here as well, but not nearly so quickly. [Points again] Over there is Orion.
contract_star: (false smile?)

[Chuckles.] Well done.

That's one way of doing it, I suppose.
