[ Angela's currently kicking back on a very large pillow, large enough to fit a few people comfortably, covered in tassels and silk brocade. She has a hat with a big jewel and a feather on it on her head, and has her hair gathered over one ear. Her rabite is snoring happily in her lap and she seems to have contented herself with just petting him quietly, though she does look up almost immediately to anyone who comes near. ]

[COAXING HIM OUT OF HIDING AGAIN. He walks up and just stands there, hands shoved into his pockets.]

Hey, trying a new look?

[ Pardon the mun, her brain isn't working. Anyway, Angela looks up from her rabite. ] Hey.

[ Smile. ] Something like that. Hawk took me back with him to Navarre.

Ah, that sounds like fun. Did you ever found out what his visit was about?

Not yet. I think the guild master wants to speak with me soon, once I'm--er, settled in?

If the guild master is getting involved that must be serious. [He catches the hesitance at the end of the sentence and gives her a curious look]

[ Curious look? What curious look? Angela avoids eye contact, combing her hair nervously with her fingers. ] Mmm, I'm not sure why he wants to talk to me and not my mother, but he was apparently glad when Hawk brought me back and said he wanted to have an audience with me later.

[Yeah, he's noticed something is off.] Maybe it's because your mother is the public figure of authority and he doesn't feel it's something she could accomplish because she's so prominent...are you all right?

Probably. It can't be that important, then.

[ Little smile. ] I'm fine.

It might be. Sometimes there are things that can be accomplished better by those who aren't in the public eye as much...

...Are you sure you're all right Angela?

That's true. I guess we'll see what he wants.

[ She nods and attempts to absently push some of her hair behind her ear, but doesn't stop herself before she can wince. It's likely he'll have caught a glance of a bandage wrapped about it. ]

[Oh yeah, he saw that] Angela, what happened to your ear?

...I like your hat.

[Toph feels something weird.]

Hey...what kind of animal is that?

I-it'll be better in a few days.

[ Grin. ] Thanks! Jessica's letting me borrow it.

It's a rabite. His name's Mochi.

That doesn't tell me what happened. [Now he's worried..]

I think the Twins were messing with two of the girls who come here now and then. One of them attacked Firo and me.

[ Sigh. She slowly takes her hat off to reveal a bandage wrapped around the crown of her head and pulls her hair away from her bandaged ear. ] I should've just left, but I didn't want her to do anything to anyone else.

A rabite? ...Man...I thought Ba Sing Se had weird animals.

He's not weird! ... Well, I guess he is, actually. They usually bite. He's docile, though.
