[ The lights are going up in the coliseum, spilling a steady glow in the general area. Slowly, it gets brighter. This is because Angela is there, using fire spells to light all the torches and wells of oil that will keep the area lit. There is also a blue, non-fire glow coming from the coliseum grounds, where Fumie is setting up screens displaying maps of the Plane for anyone who happens to need to find their way from the coliseum. Sam is lurking about as well, investigating the area for anything normally overlooked that could be of use (like, uh, bathrooms). ]

There. All lit. [ Angela smacks her hands, then looks over to Fumie. ] How are the maps coming, Fumie?

[Guess who went to hide in the coliseum, devastated by the sudden yoinkage? With all the lights wooshing up at once, though, he's left standing--his small, cattish self--in the middle of the grounds, his fur fluffed out.]

This... this is unacceptable. This is not right. I will be returned to her. I will be returned to her this instant.

[ Sup kitty. Angela blinks at him. ] Sorry, but we're all stuck here right now.

[GUESS WHO'S LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO DUMP HER SACK OF FISH GUTS? She's getting rather tired of carrying them around. :| ]

Well now! This is more like it, I would say. Well done you lot.

Thank y-- [ Sniff. Something smells... fishy. ] What in the world is that?

[typing fast in the air] I think I can support some more maps! And maybe I can print them off on something. Or draw them...

[Yowl] But she was found! I had her by my side once again!

A birthday present?

[Still has his horse out. He finds the fire horse comforting to have around]

[In Firo's mind, the SUDDEN LIGHT SOURCE can only be one person. Because he fixates like that. So he comes running into the coliseum!]

Angie! Angie? I've been looking all over for you--well I mean, I've sort of been trying to look for you, but it's damn dark out there!

Well, hopefully she'll still be there when we can get back. [ Angela squats down and gives him a pet. ] I'm sorry, but there's really nothing anyone can do. No one else can leave either.

For who?

That's great. If we can find some paper, maybe we can trace one.

A lass quite dear to my heart.

[Still making tragic little yowling sounds.] All this way, I have traveled. All this way I have come. And now I am torn from her again!

It was Sam's idea. We figured it would be a good place for people to gather.

Better than having everyone wandering around alone. Maybe the lights will draw people in.

[ Angela turns and smiles. ]

Mmm, it's not easy to find anyone out there. Are you okay?

[ Pet pet pet. There there, kitty. ]

It looks like it's working thus far.

I'd hate to see what you give people who aren't dear to you.

That is true. I guess I got lucky when I decided to follow the light.

Hopefully we won't have to rely on it very long. I don't know how long it'll take things to get fixed, but I'm hoping it isn't too terribly long.

[ She rubs her arms a bit. ] I can't help but feel cold here, even with all these fires going now.

I hope things get fixed soon too.

[Pulls off his coat and puts it over her shoulders] Hopefully this place won't get too cold.

[ She smiles a little at that, snuggling into his coat. ]

What do you think is going on in our worlds? I hope time stopped again.

[Dino sighs.] I hope that too. I would hate to have my men think I just disappeared again.
