[After quite a bit of wandering, mild cursing, and fumbles (even with light), Willow has found the kitchen. The light above her expands to cover the whole area as she starts to look around.]

It's time to face facts; we can't leave, so we're living here a while. I'm making dinner, but food's rationed till things go back to normal... if they go back to normal. I can cook, but if you can't...

[She sighs, then smiles.]

Welcome to Chez Willow. No need for a menu, because, well, you don't exactly have much to choose from. If you're hungry, you'll eat.

By the way, if I catch anyone wasting food or raiding the kitchen... [She narrows her eyes.] You will wish you never stumbled on the Plane.

So. Let's get cooking.

Merely making sure foolish people don't waste the food, that's all. We can't leave, and it's not like there's a supermarket on the Plane.

It's basically a large place where you can buy groceries. Food, dairy, vegetables, bread... All that good stuff.

I think you'll find that the kitchens, like the bar, replensh themselves. Granted, it's a bit of chance to see what they replenish with - I kept having to take things out before I could get any Jelly Babies - but we're not going to run out.

[Yuuto follows the light to see if he can help with something, but eventually he just sort of... gives up. He's torn apart with worry, practically, and needs some space away from Ryotarou. So he picks an out of the way spot on the counter to sit on and curl up, watching Willow occasionally, but not really offering to be social.]

[Willow sees Yuuto and quietly starts making him a sandwich, not pressuring him just yet. Though, she does raise some jelly to him to ask if he'd like some on his sandwich.]

... You don't have to do that. [HOLY CRAP HE SAID SOMETHING.]

[A small smile.] I know. So, jelly? Yes, no? I can get strawberry if you'd prefer that.

Bigger? [Raised eyebrow] You've not seen the markets in Port Caynn, lass.

[... Damn, he could really use something to eat. Even if he doesn't feel like it. He relaxes a little, dangling a foot off the side and looking away.]

Strawberry's fine. ... Thanks.

Coming right up. [She smiles and heads to the fridge, getting said strawberry jelly. Soon, he has a neatly cut sandwich and a glass of milk in front of him.] Here you go.

[He gives her a shy smile and a murmured thanks as he takes the sandwich, but his mind is somewhere else. If the way he's staring absently into the darkness while eating has anything to do with it.]

[When he's finished most of the sandwich, he finally says something.]

Truth be told, I'm not sure. I'll do what I can to make sure we keep some light the whole time though. [She motions above her head to the glowing light illuminating the area.]

Ah. [He takes a gulp of milk to wash the rest of the sandwich down.] ... Wish I could do something.

But... what about everyone at home? I just can't help but feel that nothing is right about all of this. It's supposed to be the Astral Plane. Why is it glitching out?

I should at that. [Looks out at the dark a little grimly; she can hear the creak of machinery in the distance for a moment, but then it's gone. Shiver.]

Provided we find out way out of this mess in less than several pieces.

It's actually a bit common. Well, depending on your point in history, but confectionaries are quite the food of the masses at the time they come from.

Ahh, so the sour mood makes a complete 180! ...so awkward working in degrees. I mean, I know that it's the way the expression goes, but it just feels better working with more mathematical terms...

[Rolls her eyes.] Fish guts, laddie. I was stuck with a stinking sack of fish guts for a prank that, at this point, has lost near-on all its appeal. I think I had the right to feel a bit sour.
