Twelve hours, eighteen minutes, twelve seconds.

[disappears and reappears again]

Thirty-five minutes, twenty-one seconds.

Six hours, fifteen minutes, eight seconds.

[frowns]

Time should not be this fluid, this in flux. It is unnatural. It ... hurts. What has happened to make it so?

You've noticed it too. It seems the effects of whatever is happening are universal.

[great minds think alike?] Perhaps. This feels ... different, somehow. It feels twisted, but also like this nexus point we are in. They are connected, but I do not know that it is their doing.

I cannot do anything but notice it. It ... hurts, being surrounded by it as I am. Time should not feel this way. It should not bring me pain.

Well, I can't feel it, but I'm pretty sure it's unusual for time to be so inconsistent.

It is painful, yes. There is no pattern, no reason to these fluctuations. Time should not flow like this.

Greatly. Time should not be in flux as it is.

Perhaps. I do not perceive myself as ... getting used to this, however. It is of great inconvenience.

You see, this is complicated~ If I take action to allow you to speak, then that'll just raise the price. I can't just assume things like that.

Oh, I charge for all of my wishes, of course. Yours would be quite expensive, considering the magic necessary. I would say that for freedom, another kind of prison would be equivalent.

Then for your freedom, I would ask your services to myself or my clients if they're ever needed. You would become an employee of my shop. Only part-time, of course~

...and for how long would you require these services? And how would I be of use to those not within my own reality?

Until your debt is paid. I can't tell you how long that will be, since I don't know that myself.

However, the world is infinitely large, you should understand this. The universe, the world, whatever you call the culmination of multiple existences, it's only as large as you think it is, or will be. Even for you, your understanding of the worlds, or even this Astral Plane, is only limited to what you see or think of as truth. So you will be of use, I can promise you that.

[huffs] Do not presume to tell me about the universe, child. I understand more than you might believe.

{Laughs} I'm not questioning your knowledge. We both know a great many things about time, space, and the concept of multiple existences, but we have very different views, I'm sure.
