I just did a count. First time I came here and went back, I was gone six hours. Next time? Three minutes. Kept trying it but it doesn't match any pattern that I know and I know a lot.

[Disapproving frown level set to "shame".] It is certainly something major. Regardless of whether or not they control our existence, this place has an effect on our homes. That's something to worry about. If this whole thing comes crashing down, never mind the problems it might cause for those of us on the plane when it happens--what about the effect it will have on those whose realities have merged to some degree or another thanks to this place?

I don't know, really. Well... [scratches his neck] realities are, in some ways, like time. They way they merge and change. Reminds me of how time lines feel when possibilities change. And when time is in flux, even the smallest change can cause the entire thread to collapse.
