[Deidara's back, but he's in a much calmer mood than some may be used to. He's brought a tree along as well, and is sitting on one of the branches, leaning comfortably up against the trunk.]

I wouldn't mind if the sky stayed like this back home, un.

[Hi! Sorry to interrupt, but HAVE SOME LIGHTNING!]

[This time Deidara is aware someone on the plane is trying to kill him with lightning. He seems to disappear from the tree, leaving it to get struck--he's really just moving extremely fast. And as he reappears on the ground he's sending three clay birds at Amaterasu.] Now, now, what was I doing that time?

[Amaterasu isn't tired this time, so she's much quicker and more agile this time. She Power Slashes the three birds out of the air and charges off to the side (conveniently away from the crowded area of the Plane), throwing her mirror as she runs.]

It is the same as before. You harmed a person here--and that is unacceptable.

[Deidara leaps onto a large clay bird and takes flight top-speed, rolling out of the way of the mirror and dropping a clay spider on it as it passes--he'll set it off when it returns to her.]

So you'll kill me? Hypocrite. [Laughs.]

To keep you from harming anyone else here? Yes.

[And, oh shit! There isn't much Ammy can do to keep the mirror from coming back, so she just braces herself for the explosion. When the spider goes off, she goes flying, but is back on her feet almost immediately, the fur on her neck and side singed. Luckily being a sun goddess gives you some protection against fire.]

[Without hesitating, she Power Slashes the head off of the giant bird.]

Philistines are so self-righteous, un. [ The bird--which is hollow--tips forward as its center of gravity is sharply altered. Deidara simply adds more clay, however, and a new head is created. He circles wide around Amaterasu; he seems to be considering her.]

[She disappears from the Plane and reappears a few seconds later with several enormous pink flowers, floating in the air and gently spinning. She then draws a line from each Konohana Blossom to the bird--wrapping one around its tail, one around its neck, and a few others around its middle and wings. An instant later the bird is entangled in vines.]

You don't understand true art! [He leaps off of the entangled bird, setting it off as he falls, but just before he seems like he might hit the ground another bird takes its place beneath him, swooping quickly and gaining altitude as Deidara peppers the ground with spider bombs.]

[The explosion takes out the vines and, temporarily, the Konohana Blossoms, but Amaterasu manages to avoid the worst of it. When she shes the spiders she bares her teeth, but takes the opportunity to make a break for it--trying to lead Deidara away from any people who might get in the way.]

[Grins, and then walks so he's standing upside-down on the branch.] Need a hand?

[Gives him a mildly suprised glance and then slips down the tree again] Aargh... Please?

[He glares--how dare she suggest he doesn't know what art is? He'll just have to prove it to her. The spiders nearest to Amaterasu explode as she runs near them, and Deidara is in hot pursuit, though he is not firing anything.

And then he makes a dragon. It's massive--Deidara can stand on the head and still have a great amount of room to move around. He's moved on to C2.]

Let's play. [The dragon spits out a bunch of basketball-sized bombs, which fall everywhere.]

[He grabs her hand and pulls her up before righting himself, still amused.] You fight demons, but can't climb a tree?

[Swings feet and scowls] Climbing was never my strong point.

It's more jumping for a ninja, un. Or walking. Not hard once you get used to it.

I can jump, and I can certainly walk... It's just I have a tendency to fall down vertical faces.

[He laughs.] You wouldn't be a very good ninja, un.

Scaling trees is like, the basic basic, un.

[Scowls] I always hated climbing...

[Amaterasu leaps to avoid the spiders, though one explosion sends her stumbling. She almost comes to a dead stop when she sees the dragon because--well--it is pretty impressive--but she keeps running, only pausing to Power Slash the bombs that she can't avoid.]

How about walking? [He demonstrates by walking up and down the trunk of the tree, the same as if he were walking on the ground.]

[Deidara lets her occupy herself with that while he busies himself with another bomb--he's making the C3 bomb that is capable of destroying an entire village. All the while he's flying around, and the dragon is spitting out bombs that explode when Amaterasu gets near enough.]

[Keeps on Power Slashing the hell out of the bombs, until she thinks she's gotten far enough from the center of the Plane that other people won't be harmed. The Konohana Blossoms reform around her, but for the moment she ignores them. She glares up at the dragon and draws a bolt in the air just above it. A moment later the flash of lightning lights up the whole area and the thunder makes the floor rumble.]

[Deidara tosses up a large bird bomb--the size of his flying clay bird--to absorb the lightning. Once struck, the bird crashes ineffectually to the ground. Deidara picks up the speed on his dragon, aiming the bombs at the flowers now.]

[Amaterasu snarls and leaps onto one of the Konohana Blossoms so that she has a better vantage point. She starts Power Slashing the bombs out of the air, but she can't stop all of them. One of the Blossoms is temporarily destroyed.]

[She Power Slashes the closest bombs, then draws a line from each remaining Blossom to the dragon. Vines whip outward and coil around the dragon's neck and midsection. As soon as its movement has slowed even a little, Amaterasu draws an X in the air with a horizontal line through it. In an instant the dragon is being pelted with dagger-like shards of ice.]

[He abandons the dragon.] Katsu! [The whole thing explodes--and it is a massive explosion. But nothing compared to the one he's dropping now, hoping that Amaterasu will be too occupied by the dragon's explosion to notice. He gets out of range on a bird, and--] KATSU!

[The C3 detonates, with the power to destroy a village. Luckily there's not much around on this side of the plane.]

[Amaterasu is forced to Mist Warp out of the range of the dragon's explosion, and in so doing she doesn't see the other bomb that Deidara drops.]

[She does notice him getting out of the way, though.]

[So she starts running, just as the explosion goes off. Even she can't outrun an explosion, so she has no choice but to leave the Plane.]

[Eyes widen] I'll have to try that...
