Sometimes, when people are troubled, they distance themselves from others. But I'm sure he will come around eventually! Perhaps all he needs is some time and space.

It is an interesting mix. [Sniffs again.] Clean air and water and grass, cotton and living things. But also metal and glass and blood. And...[Pauses, sniffing, tilting her head again as if puzzled.] Something small and almost unnoticeable that I cannot place.
