[Cy is still the size of a bullet, and VERY VERY TIRED OF BEING IGNORED BY ALL YOU BIG PEOPLE. So here she is, sitting in the middle of a flock of minuscule, brightly-colored birds. She's surrounded by a faint, cool glow. He mouth is wide open and more of the little jewel-colored creatures are spilling out onto the plane every moment as she croons a tuneless little song.]

[So she settles back and starts singing, in her own little kitty way. It's probably a bit more mesmerizing than a crooning off-key song should be. She tilts her head to one side and opens her mouth and birds start tumbling out again, twinkling and sparkling before hitting the ground, righting themselves and flying off into other areas of the plane.

And maybe, Hei, you're starting to feel relaxed. And maybe you're starting to feel sleepy. Maybe, Hei, you should sit down.

She keeps singing, low and quiet.]

[Laid flat out, hurrah. She climbs up and sits on his chest, still crooning away. She's singing a dream for you now, Hei. One that you can probably experience quite lucidly.

But at the same time, she seems somehow more present and real. The white patches on her fur are bright as clouds, the dark swirls deep enough to fall into--look at them too long and you might see the faint glimpse of stars. She licks you and her breath smells like wind and flowers and the sea.]

[And that's a nice dream. Much nicer than most of his dreams lately. Hei feels safe and at peace. He settles into the dream, falling deeper into sleep. For the first time in two weeks he's going to sleep a full night.]
