[Astrid appears on the Plane in her pyjamas and barefoot. Well technically they're not pyjamas, it's just a pink Care Bear t-shirt (shut up okay it depicts a care bear stare - and she thought it was a bit like that trick Bannakaffalatta pulled, it has NOTHING to do with the fact she thinks Care Bears are adorable) and boxer shorts. Pyjama descriptions aside though, she's clearly not long out of bed, her hair's in a very scruffy ponytail and she has toast and peanut butter in one hand and a cup of tea in the other.

It's been a while since she was here, probably too embarrassed after the way she dropped when she was talking to the Doctor, and then she was a fairy, which was a bit disconcerting. But she's told herself it's because she's been too busy, even though time doesn't pass when you're here, but that's a technicality and doesn't need thinking about too much, because that would add a flaw to her logic.

Anyway, she looks a bit anxious, and there's a very good reason for her being here.]

I need some help, can anyone get me forged paperwork?

Show of hands: who thinks I'm not in my right mind?

{House is looking annoyed. Of course he does, Cuddy made him do clinic duty. Which, for the record, is so not fair. She can go pick up baby stuff before she even has a baby and House can't miss the completely pointless clinic duty? Life is unfair. But he's laying on a hospital bed with an issue of Entertainment Weekly and some popcorn. It's so easy to avoid clinic duty with the coma patients.}

You think I would get three days before I get another case, but no. Male, 6 years old, presenting with flu-like symptoms. He came in with his mother, and I was about to dismiss it, but I noticed the kid had some burns on his wrist. They were an odd shape, so I looked at them a bit more closely, and it seems like the kind of burns after they bombed Hiroshima, if you've ever seen pictures.

We believe that he has a very rare condition, so we hospitalized him, and the CDC is on their way to see for themselves. I told Cuddy not to get them involved, but she said that it would be illegal to not report it. I could have handled it on my own.

Still, I've only heard of Radioactive Flu once. It's a very rare condition.

{He eats some popcorn, opening his magazine again} I'm just kidding, I had to deal with an overprotective mother and her stupid kid with the sniffles.

Oh, and for anyone that cares is knowing the ending to last week's gripping medical mystery, the lesbian that had the seizure had Sjögren's syndrome. Surprise.

Wicked little girls get sent to bed without any supper. I didn't mean to forget. I used to say my prayers every day, but I don't know the words now. Scattered like broken glass.

In nomine patris. I remember that from long ago, but it burns my poor tongue. The church is in ruins now, with sky for a ceiling and grass choking the gravestones.

It hurts.

[Drusilla is sitting on the ground with her knees hugged to her chest. Although she often wears unusual clothing, she has never looked this disheveled before. Her eyes are wide, and she is rocking a little as she makes a low, whimpering sort of sound.]

Just a devil. Just a devil. The monsters in the bed are crawling out to play. We can't look. We shouldn't look. Evil things need to be swallowed up by the shadows, before they're burned to dust.

It hurts.

OOC: Welcome to the start of Dru's first experiment! For the next fortnight, she will be a vampire with a soul. And she won't be happy about it.

[oh look it's Buffy, who hasn't appeared on the Plane for a while because her mun is fail because she's been terribly busy fighting the forces of evil (as one does). As it is, she looks tired and possibly a tad petulant too. For some reason she's carrying a deckchair-- probably in order to sit on it, which she proceeds to do]

Why hasn't Scotland heard of churros?

[it's been some time since the TARDIS was last on the Plane, but here she is, with what looks like a segment from a very large wardrobe. not her own, of course, but some of Romana's old things from her room. there are several hat boxes and chests scattered around her and the TARDIS is currently standing in front of a full-length mirror, trying on a wide assortment of various hats. it's not like Romana needs them anymore, her being gone and all. you know.

besides, the TARDIS has been going through her rooms looking for things she might clear away or pack up in the attic. so whatever she doesn't like is being tossed in a pile to be sorted and filed. it isn't like the Doctor has bothered in some two hundred years to do so. there's also the added bonus of her attempting to appear 'nice' for him, and she knows he fancied Romana, soooo]

[Ianto is leaning against the counter from his Tourist Information Office (although that's the only part he's bothered bringing), flicking through a postcard catalogue. Someone has to maintain their front, and typically that someone is Ianto. Probably because he's the only one who cares puts any effort into it.

he scribbles down a few numbers on the order form in front of him, then flips to the next page whilst taking a sip of his coffee. Ianto has the most interesting job ever, clearly.]
