[hello everybody! in an effort to get Sam to Not Emo (and to give me a chance to get back into the swing of things after Hell Week of Doom) I present to you ... Sam and Gene! that's right, the Ambiguously Gay Dynamic Duo are on the Plane, setting up a new TV at the bar. I mean, where else would they? Gene pretty much lives there and Sam's desk is boring. HEAR THAT SAM? BORING.
at any rate. they're setting up the telly. why, might you ask? simple! because Sam's out to prove that Man-U is better than City, and he's a stack of future!games to prove it. it's just a matter of showing Gene, who is understandably incredulous. observe]

I have recordings of a good few Manchester derbies that say otherwise, Guv. [Note that the Denis Law game is very much absent, and indeed, all the games shown are ones where United wins. Sam may be a very good copper, but that doesn't extend to football] Including both from 1976, the Old Trafford game in '80, the devastating 0-3 win in '85 - devastating to City, that is - and a 5-0 victory at Old Trafford in 1994. That one is going to be brutal. Don't worry; I'll ask Phyllis to dry your tears after.
