[recognizes the Gallifreyan but this time he isn't pouting. Instead he's come to speak in...pictionary. Yes.

So he holds out a pad of paper with the following doodled upon it: it starts with what looks like a shrine with beads, then moves to a stick figure with a >) expression, then to a doodle of a guy in a long coat and a frowning face, then a stormy cloud with a lightning bolt, then a stick figure in a long coat with a tuff of hair sticking up holding his hand out to the other long coat stick figure. Lastly there is a stick figure that looks grumpy and is holding a gun and he circles this one]

[Ugh. She facepalms and then reaches for his hand in a sort of 'are you all right?' gesture.]

[Oh shit, it's the Doctor. Stares at him for quite some time.]

[Gallifreyan,] D... You...

[Takes him a minute to notice the drawings, but when he does he just frowns and shakes his head, since he has no idea what the Doctor is trying to say.] I don't...I don't know what... [He takes a step backward. All those feelings and things that he was just starting to try and deal with are rushing back.]

[THINKS THESE TWO AT CLOSE QUARTERS MAY NOT BE A GOOD IDEA JUST NOW. So yeah, totally getting between them, holding a hand out palm-up to Hei and holding up a "stop" hand at the Doctor.]

Well, I don't know if either one of you can understand me, but I'll try, at least.

[Looks at the pictures.] ...what the hell is that.

[Edges away from the hand, but he gets the meaning. He sighs and nods a bit.]

[Looks from Misaki to the Doctor and back.] I wasn't...I wasn't going to...

[Takes another step backward and looks away from both of them.] I should...I should go.

[Hei is pretty sure that his heart stops for a moment there. He doesn't have his back to a wall this time like with the other Master, but for now he is frozen in place, staring at the Master.]

Y...why can I...why is it you?

[Ack! Whatever he got from that wasn't what she intended. She waves a dismissive hand at the Doctor and then holds both hands out to Hei.] No no, please, I wasn't trying to say whatever it was you think I was saying.

[shakes his head quickly at Hei and takes steps back, holding up his hands]

[Looks at Misaki's hands, then looks over at the Doctor, but can't bring himself to look the Doctor in the face. He glances at the drawings again.]

Oh. He's...trying to apologize...isn't he?

[Well, that's even worse than Misaki thinking Hei was going to throttle the Doctor or whatever, so this is Hei turning and starting to leave.] I can't...no, not now.

[She runs around in front of him because she doesn't want to touch him without his permission and holds her hands up again, this time in a sort of 'wait' motion. She goes back over to the Doctor.] Give me that a minute.

[Takes the paper and pulls out a pen, scribbling a surprisingly good doodle of the Doctor with Misaki aiming a gun at him and Hei standing behind her, sheltered. Terse,] Sorry. Have to make him understand I didn't think he was going to hurt you.

[And back to Hei.]

Hell if I know. Word of advice, Mr Shengshun? Try to avoid using Gallifreyan where I can hear you. I don't take kindly to it.

[nods] It's all right. The important part is the 'help' part. Think you can get that across? I can wait, since we've got to go through it, first, but I want him to know it's there.

[Hei does wait, and when Misaki brings him the picture he stares at it a moment. Then he chuckles a bit, though there's absolutely no warmth there.]

You'll protect me. Right, everyone's been saying that. I know. [He points to the drawing and nods.] I get it.

I just...I can't... [Makes a frustrated sound and takes the pen and paper. He draws a sad/worried stick figure with poofy hair holding out a card to another stick figure with a :| expression, then puts a bit X through it. Then he draws a little clock above them and puts an X through that as well. He holds it up for them to see.]

Just...I can't...it's too soon.

[She nods firmly, then draws a picture of herself hitting the Doctor with a clock before walking back over to him.]

He doesn't want you anywhere near him right now. You should have spoken to me first.

[Drops his gaze to the floor and takes a step backwards, shaking a bit now. Switches immediately to Tibetan.]

[gives Misaki a mild look] He can talk quite well.

[gets his spare pad out and draws a clock. Then draws a stick figure of himself waiting next to it. He starts to draw something else, chews on the pen, then scribbles it out and draws the infinity symbol in the clock, holding the pad up with a nod]

Do you think I would be exactly thrilled to have someone in a while lab coat come walking up to me a handful of days after leaving PANDORA? It's the same thing to him. [She looks over at Hei to see if he sees the Doctor's message.]
