{Balalaika has, actually, been on the plane for a little bit now. Maybe because everyone was more preoccupied with the fact they can't speak their normal languages, but she also didn't make a grand entrance. In fact, it was more like she thought this was some weird trip and wandered over to the bar to ride it out with the great view and alcohol. Perfect.

But goddamnit, this place is too loud and...not going away to be an acid trip. So she lights a cigar and turns away from the bar with her glass of brandy, speaking in English first.}

You damn idiots run around like a chicken with its head cut off. Is this normal? Because the next person that runs around yowling like a cat is going to be sporting a new asshole right in between their eyes. If I'm tripping all the way to heaven, I'd like to enjoy the view in peace.

{Then Russian, because she thought she caught a few snippets of that being spoken} What a damn fucking place to end up, though. Thought it was a blessing with free alcohol, but then there are people running around speaking languages I've never even heard of. You'd think I stumbled into heaven's crossroads or some bullshit like that with a view like this, but obviously God is just a sick bastard and this is Hell.

{Muttering in English, taking a sip of her drink} Where's Rock when I need him? At least that boy could speak Japanese.

I'm really not sure how that ended up in the language pool. Most people here are speaking two languages and can't speak any others, whether or not they know these other languages - and, indeed, whether or not they know the languages they're speaking. Unless, of course, there are a lot more Gallifreyans around than I guessed.
