[So uhm... Mu looks pretty put-off by something. He keeps opening his mouth to speak, but all that comes out is a long, loud yowl, like a cat that hasn't been fed. Shortly after beginning, it abruptly cuts out as he slams his mouth shut again.

Guess who doesn't realize he can speak German yet 8D?]

[Yuzuriha is a bit concerned...and a bit confused.]

[In Cat] I should be able to understand that but...I don't.

[Looks up and replies in very quiet Cat] You too?

[flkdnsfkhd Darnit. The one person he's avoiding has a language in common with him. Ffffft. Nearby, but not really approaching yet. In Cat on accident, mostly because he just heard someone else 'speaking' it:] And now Mu is meowing, too...

[In Cat] Yes and Italian I believe...

[They can understand each other but it still sounds like meowing...and that's just a bit strange. She presses the end of her scarf to her mouth awkwardly.]

At least we still understand each other.

That makes this no less distressing.

[Promptly shuts up]

[In Italian] I would rather be able to understand you than anyone else here.

Um... You're not the only one doing it, you know...

[Very quietly] That makes it no less embarrassing.

W-well, no, but... Can't you speak anything else? So far, everyone is able to speak two languages.

[In Cat] ...I apologize. My tongue slips on occassion.

What I said is...I'd rather be able to understand you than anyone else here.

[Small smile] Well I suppose that is a blessing.

[Sudden German] Two---Oh.

[:O!] That's what Deneb's been speaking...!

[BACK TO CAT] Then I suppose I could translate if I had to.

[Ryotarou is torn. D: Mu doesn't remember him, and Ryotarou shouldn't be reestablishing ties in case it happens again, but...!] Thank you...

[Switches to Tibetan.] Can you understand me now?

[Still Tibetan,] Um...but...you recognize it. So. [Blinks.] Tibetan?

[Long pause. Eventually Hei sighs. Resignedly,] I'm too...this just had to happen now, didn't it?

[Vague recognition of the name, nods, then another sympathetic nod at his expression]

[German] At least you're not meowing.

[Blinks.] That sounds...well, that sounds like German. I've heard some other people here speaking it. Um... [Points at Mu, makes a talking motion with his hand, then gestures at the Plane.]

[Cat ftw] Hello, Mu.

[Quietly] Hello, Doctor.

I take it you're not enjoying this either?

It's rather indignant, yes.

You could always try your other one. [pause, in Japanese] Like this. [back to Cat] It might be less screechy.

[German] But less people understand this.

Ooh, German. You might be better off with the cat then.

[B/] Unfortunately so.

Think of it this way, it's better than no one else speaking it. Then you'd sound silly and be unable to keep up a conversation.

...Right...well. I suppose it doesn't matter. [Shrugs, and smiles a little "what can you do?" smile.]
