[Lina appears on the Plane in a pair of manacles. Which are attached by a chain to a very thick section of wall which Lina has her foot on since she was attempting to pull the chain from the wall. As the wall section falls over with a crash, pulling Lina with it because of the chain and causing her to stumble. She looks at the wall section, startled.] Well that didn't work.. [She climbs up on the wall sections and continues to try and pull the chain out]

[ooc: It is currently Lina's Time of Month. In the rules of Lina's reality that means she is unable to use her magic. Feel free to poke her!]

Miss Inverse? What in the world happened to you?

You are, I think, in some difficulty.

What's it look like happened? I got captured!

No, you think? [See, Lina can do sarcasm too!]

[Blink. Unfortunately Ragnar + Sarcasm = something divided by zero? ]

I do. This is what I said. It is unfortunate that I cannot help you.

[Flat looks, but she's used to being around people who don't get sarcasm. She travels with Gourry after all] Yeah, unfortunate. But I really don't need help. I can get out of this on my own!

A-ah, well, I can see that! I just meant...well, never mind. [Reaches into a pocket and pulls out a small packet.] I could try and pick the locks...

[Holds out her wrists] Go ahead and try. If you can get these off I can get out of the cell.

[Pulls out a few small tools and goes to work on the shackles. He's silent as he works, concentration showing on his face. It takes about a minute and a half for him to get the first shackle undone, and then he moves to the second one, which goes even faster. Then he stands back and grins.]

There we go.

This is good. You are a very strong human?

[just... sort of... stares] Nee nee what are you doing, gero?

[Ikki arches an eyebrow.] What did you do this time?

[ Wince, those chains don't look very comfortable. ] Need some help?

Of course! I'm the beautiful genius sorceress Lina Inverse, no one can defeat me!

What's it look like I'm doing? I'm trying to get these off!

I didn't do anything! I just figured out that the guy running the town is a fake who's trying to resurrect a demon.

[Takes this to mean that it is time for introductions.] And I am Ragnar Gustaffson Coeur de Lion, Norwegian Forest Cat. It is, I would say, an honor to meet you.

Looks like he didn't approve.

Um um why are they on you in the first place gero? Did you do something bad hm hm?

[Pause. She doesn't want to admit that she might need help since she should be able to get out of this on her own...except for this time of month.] I just need to get these [Rattles the manacles] off, then I can get out of the rest on my own.

Uh yeah, honor to meet you too... [Tugs on the chains some more]

Most people don't like having their super secret evil plans exposed. But he's going to regret locking me up like this once I get out of here! [Tugtug on the chain]

I didn't do anything! The guy who locked me up is the one trying to resurrect the demon!

[Sits down rubbing her wrists] Thanks. [Evil grin] Now I can make him pay for locking me up like that!

So... why don't you just blow 'em up? [He's not sure if he can help her get out, but he can try. If he feels like it.]
