[Here's Hei. He is no longer crazy; in fact, he has been out of the Gate for a few days now. But you can tell at a glance that the whole thing is still having an effect on him--he looks tired, as if he hasn't been sleeping, and there's a vaguely haunted look in his eyes, though it's not nearly as bad as it was.]

[He wanders the Plane until he finds a nice palm tree at the beach. Then he sits down and leans back against it with his hands behind his head. He says nothing, just stares up at the Astral sky, watching the stars.]

[Hei looks up at him, an unreadable expression on his face.]

It's alright. I'm safe.

[nods, then crouches down near him, looking up at the stars]

Sleep well?

[Laughs bitterly and looks back up at the sky.] Nope.

[sits down fully this time, letting his arms hang across his knees]

Didn't think so. How are you, though?

...Alright, I guess.

[He lowers his gaze but doesn't look at the doctor.] Um...sorry. I broke your wrist, didn't I?

[holds out his wrist so Hei can see it. It's possibly a little puffier than normal but otherwise looks the same]

Good as new! Really, I get bones broken all the time.

[Hei is a bit relieved to see that it healed so fast.]

...I don't really remember all that much. I didn't do anything else, did I? To hurt you, I mean.

[Doesn't look at him.]

[Hey, he's talking sense now] Did you get out of the Gate?

[tilts his head] You don't remember anything? But no, nothing happened. You slept.

A couple days ago, yes. I don't remember all that much.

I remember some things. Some stuff from the Gate...some stuff from here. [Hei fixes the Doctor with a curious look.] You did something to my head.

Oh, yes. That was just some mental work. I was trying to calm you down.

[Hei frowns a bit.]

The TARDIS was singing. Rose...the Master... [frown deepens a bit as he tries to remember] Paris?

Ah...I could forget all of that, if you want me to.

[shakes his head]

It's all right. [helpfully] Paris was with Romana.

Romana? [Looks back at the stars, still frowning a bit as he tries to sort through the memories.] She's here, isn't she? I don't think I've met her, but you mentioned she's here.

[Expression softens as he remembers how happy the Doctor was that day in Paris.]

[smiles, leaning back] That's her. She's busy, so it's no surprise. She was president of Gallifrey for a while there.

President, huh? Impressive. Is it the president who runs--ran--Gallifrey, or the Council?

[Falls silent when he realizes this is kind of an odd conversation, considering Hei recently went crazy and broke some of the Doctor's bones D:]

[O hay, Li. You seem significantly more sane since the last time Ryotarou saw you, so have him approaching with slight caution. A glance up to the stars to maybe see what he's looking at... but then a curious glance back down to Hei.]
