[There's a thud as Mu appears on the plane again. He's near his hammock, but on the ground, looking like he didn't quite get where he was going. There's also an ugly red bloodstain in his side, though there's no weapon to be found.

Mu is pale, there are bags under his eyes, and his hair is a mess. He's sweating and shaking, and his eyes appear bloodshot. If you listen carefully, you can hear him whispering, as he tries to turn over and look up at the Astral Sky]

no secrets there are no secrets I can hear everything all the whispers all the fear why won't they be quiet why why why they're so loud they never stop...

(So, hanging around a hallucinating Hei and a thought-noisy Firo finally broke him. Mu's mental shields are absolutely gone, so there's no filter on what he hears. In fact, he's unconsciously reading the thought of anyone who passes by! What's worse, is that as more and more voices mix up in his head, the less of him there will be to talk back. SO. The more people participate, the more fun this will be.

Also, to anyone of psychic inkling, he's projecting as much as he's reading, so, uh...HAVE FUN WITH THAT.

Also also, this thread might get depressing and/or creepy. You've been warned. )

[AHFSJFSJFS Bloody Mu! Who really does not look good. Guess who has to rush over?] Mu, what happened? [He's worried about Mu, if there's been another attack on Sanctuary and if there's even anything he can do to help.]

[Barely registers Shun for a long moment, then] Everything's a mess...

[Starts feeling a pressure in his head and hearing that familiar buzzing in the back of his mind as soon as he gets near Mu, but he pushes it to the side as he kneels down to help. The bleeding Saint is more important right now.] Mu, what happened to you? Was there an attack?

[He wants to try and heal him but Mu can do that himself and he's worried Mu would be offended if he tried.]

No. Yes. No. Not on her.

Mu! What has happened to you?? [Ammy is very worried and thinks he smells strange--like a maelstrom.]

[A long while passes before he speaks to her]

I can see forever....

[concerned!Doctor is concerned. And has enough mental abilities to feel Mu. He's definitely rubbing his temple idly as he comes over]

Blimey, that's strong. What happened? [crouches down near him]

Can't keep it out.

[Hei's world is back to normal! Which means he's mostly sane again. Though he still looks thoroughly exhausted.]

...Mu?

[His mind is working slower than normal thanks to tiredness and recent insanity, but mostly it's feelings. Lingering fear, embarrassment, worry over whether he hurt anyone and why can't he remember that when he can remember the things in the Gate, the vines and glowing flowers, the metal trees, the creatures that hunted him for those last three days.]

[Now Shun is both confused and worried. The first She he thinks of is Athena so at least that's out. But it's happening to Mu again, and Shun had no idea what to do about it. Plus it seems worse this time, but he can't just ignore the blood.] So it's not about Athena? Then what happened to you? [And yes he's checking to make sure Mu's all right. At least he doesn't have to deal with another wound on the Plane. He would feel better though if he could just figure out what's going on.

That the buzzing in his head and the pressure are both growing worse is something he's trying to ignore.]

See...? [She snuffles at him--there's the maelstrom, along with a flood of emotions. Ammy frowns; she's never smelled anything like this before.]

Hold still. I will heal your injury.

[frowns, edging slightly closer but not making any moves otherwise] Something's wrong with your telepathy?

You look bad.

[She's feeling something though she's not sure what, currently she's just rubbing the side of her head and thinking a whole jumble of things of not much consequence... A few thoughts however involve a mix between a man and a scorpion and a giant rabbit like thing that spits acid]

It's building oh god why won't it go away?

Everyone and everything why won't they all stop talking?

wrong wrong everything's wrong...and the buzzing is building why won't it go away?

They were so pretty....

[Winces a bit] More messes.

[Eyebrow raises] There is always a mess somewhere.

I can hear it all I can see it all...[Small frown] Smells so strange...

[Hei tries to push through the fog in his head and he comes up with the memory of Mu at the bus stop. He has a feeling he knows what's going on here. He sits down next to Mu.]

What was so pretty, Mu?

[Ammy uses the brush to draw a thick stroke over Mu's injury. A moment later it's healing. Then she sits down near him and stares at him for awhile, thinking of how to ask him and of how this could have happened to him. And in the back of her mind is an image of Nippon covered in shadow, of people suffering and dying, of people being harmed on the Astral Plane, and a growing sense of failure.]

What is going on in that head of yours, Mu?

The....I don't remember....

Shadows and suffering I can't stand it why is everyone hurting...

[Snuffles at him again and--ah, there it is. And she cuts off her mind from him. All he'll be able to pick up from her now is a soft, glowing warmth.]

Can you tell me how this happened to you?
