[A Tokyo bus stop appears on the Plane. Guess who's inside it? The exhaustion from searching and worrying for Yin--and from having Misaki go all Contractory on everyone--has caught up with Hei. He's asleep inside the bus stop, leaning against the glass. And not only has he now arrived on the Astral Plane in his sleep, he also missed his bus D:]

[Also, he's frowning a bit in his sleep, as if he's watching something unpleasant.]

[Come bother him! He's a light sleeper and will wake up as soon as someone approaches.]

[Have a lemonade-toting Tohru approaching with caution. She sees he's asleep and then vanishes, reappearing with a blanket. She tries to settle it over him and trips, and the lemonade and everything else tumbles out of her grip]

[Comes awake and tenses when he realizes someone is near him, but when he registers that it's Tohru he relaxes again.]

[Until she dumps lemonade all over him, anyway. He sits bolt upright, dripping and spluttering.]

Wah! Careful!

[Quietly] This is becoming a trend, I think...

[Vanishes and comes back with a light blanket, which he throws over him]

[Awakens at the sound of Mu's voice and sits up in time to catch the blanket. He looks around in confusion then runs a hand through his hair.]

Aw, damn. I didn't mean to come here.

You're a lighter sleeper than I.

[Shun gives a half smile when he sees Hei, disappears, then comes back with a blanket.]

[Wiping his face off.] Ah, no, it's alright. Lemonade is hardly the worst thing I've had dumped on me.

But what are you doing...[looks around and realizes where he is] here. Oh.

[Comes awake when he senses Shun nearby and blinks at him sleepily.]

Shun? What are you...[He looks around and sighs, smiling a bit.] Ah, I guess it happened to me too, huh?

[contract_star]

[Smirks and stretches.] I kind of have to be.

[Looks over the bus stop.] I probably missed the bus, too.

I can understand that.

I will come again, I'm sure.

True, but not for another hour.

So is Kiki back in your world? I got Yin back, but she's...a bit different.

[Smiles back] Yep. I came here in my sleep a little while ago too.

Unfortunately no. Maybe I'll borrow one from the Doctor.

You must be glad to have him back.

...She doesn't remember being missing at all. She can't tell me anything about where she was or what happened, and she seems really confused. I don't even know what reality she was in. And the syndicate is worried...Huang is trying to convince them that she's fine, but he and Mao both think she must have had her memory tampered with. Which means she might have been caught by Amber, or some other enemy...so they're all worried.

Really? Seems to be a common theme, lately.

[Looks around the bus stop.] I suppose I'll have to take this back. I just hope I didn't miss my bus...

Shun's brother is in a similar state. I'm assuming it's common to all who were not located.[Ittybittyfrown]

[Hei now feels like a bit of a failure.] ...Damn.

[lamb_of_gold]

[Says nothing but sits next to him and, almost uncharacteristically, props his head in his hands]

[Looks over at him, a bit surprised, but doesn't say anything. He's a bit preoccupied by what the syndicate might do to Yin.]

[Looks over] Protect her then. As best you ca--....you didn't say that out loud, did you?

[contract_star]

[Blinks.] Sorry. I guess I still think too loudly. [Sighs.] Or too much, maybe.

No....It was like I literally heard that thought in my own mind.
