[You probably wouldn't notice Misaki first. You would probably first notice the bright blue glow surrounding her. And then, maybe, the two little flame-like points of red glowing at the center of her pupils. And then her appearence; her hair loose and ragged around her face, her scrubs torn, a little line of glittering black blood trailing down her hip. She doesn't say anything, just stands and stares into the middle distance, her hands loose at her sides.]

[Ffff bed what. Just so you know if you approach her right now, you'll probably get sleepy at the very least. If she touches you she'll likely knock you out. If you have psychic attunement of some kind the effect will be even stronger. Have fuuun~]

[Ohfuckshit.]

Misa...ki? [And he sways and a hand goes to his head as sudden exhaustion threatens to floor him.]

Misaki. Stop. Control it. [Stumbles but walks toward her, despite the increasing tiredness.]

[Blink. And have her nice, eerie gaze turned on you, Hei. There's almost no inflection when she speaks.]

...what are you doing? You should stay back.

[Grits his teeth and tries to stay focused, even though he now realizes that she's got the full Contractor package now, and there's that stupid pain in his chest again.]

Misaki. Think about where you are. You could hurt people here. [Is still walking forward, very slowly.] Letting your ability go out of control is hardly befitting of a Contractor.

[Leedle tiny smile that might be a bit scary given the situation.] All the times I've heard that said, and I never really understood what it meant.

I am afraid there is nothing I can do about this. They drugged me. This was the desired effect.

[Sways again, and his vision is sliding in and out of focus. He closes his eyes and concentrates, willing himself to push through the tiredness. Then he opens his eyes and lets a wire fly to wrap around her wrist.]

Sorry about this.

[His eyes flare red and he shocks her, just enough to knock her out.]

[She's in mid-reaction--seizing the wire, whipping out the scalpel that obviously cut her when she stashed it in the elastic of her pants--when the shock hits. She drops like a broken doll.]

[Hei stumbles and almost drops as well, but then the tiredness starts to dissipate. He waits and counts to ten until he's sure he can walk, then retracts his wire and goes to her. He sits down beside her and takes the scalpel out of her hand. He settles in to wait for her to wake up, and is prepared to shock her again if he needs to.]

[It takes a while--maybe half and hour--before she stirs. When her eyes open its clear that they aren't out of the woods yet. The little red glow flickers back and the blue corona bursts to life. Hahahashouldn't'vebeensocloseHei. She smiles and grabs him around the neck and kisses him. Night~]

[Exhaustion hits him like a tidal wave. His mind only barely registers the kiss. He has enough time to give her a quick jolt, before he's out cold.]

[Daw, that's so cute. They're sleeping on each other. Another, oh, hour and the effect of the drug is wearing off. Misaki groans and rolls over, pushing herself up on onto her knees.]

[Dino knows what that glow means.]

Misaki? What...[And he's forced to stop as he feels the effects of her power]

[Glances at him] It would be better, I think, if you didn't come close.

[Daaaw, two murderous Contractors cuddling unsuspectingly, so adorable. Hei starts stirring a minute or so after Misaki wakes up and as soon as he remembers what was happening he jolts awake and grabs her wrist. He stops when he realizes her power is no longer active. He stares at her for a moment and then lets go.]

Wait here.

[He disappears from the Plane and returns a few minutes later. He wordlessly hands Misaki a couple of books of matches.]

[Doesn't thank him or look away or do any of the things she normally would. Just calmly and methodically starts burning them, one by one.]

[Just sits with her, watching, because nothing really needs to be said right now. Once she's close to finishing the first book he ducks out again and returns with a bowl of mu shu pork. He pushes that at her as well, still not saying anything.]

[Stops wear he is, but he doesn't back down even though he's swaying] Why are you doing this?

[Finishes the matchbook and tucks the other one in her bra.] My obeisance only requires one.

[And then a glance at the mu shu pork and her lips twitch in a tiny pseudo-smile.] They fed me before the experiment. I'm not hungry, but thank you.

[Sigh] I don't have a choice in the matter. I thought I might do less damage here than I've already done in PANDORA.

I'll keep matchbooks on hand from now on. Just in case you need one.

[He shrugs and takes the bowl back, digging into it himself.]

Does it extend beyond making people fall asleep? Or do you not know yet?

[Fighting to stay away] What happened in PANDORA?

There's no need, though I won't refuse.

As far as I can tell thus far, sleep is the only tangible effect.

[Finally looks up at her.] It's not just the ability anymore. You're thinking like a Contractor. What changed?

[She tilts her head to one side, examining him.] There's something off about your questioning.

And I've no idea. I wasn't aware anything had changed.

What is it?

No. I suppose you wouldn't be. Bai wasn't, either.

[Thread of a smile] You're being emotional.
