[Roaming around the Astral Plane now that he's spent some time back in his own reality - he looks a little tired, and that black glitter-stuff now coats the top of his hair, the tip of his nose, and half of his right foot. There's five gems in the jar he's carrying right now.]

When are these things going to stop appearing?! They've even been eating buildings! I think... [trails off, blinking, before suddenly saying,] It's still no good! Right when I think they might be gone, more of them show up!

[laughing] Of course not! I don't know how to explain it. It's like the thing couldn't get its teeth through, and then later I saw that this stuff was on me.

I also have this feeling one of the monsters was going to eat something or someone when I found it but I don't remember somehow.

That's funny... I can almost... I'm sure that happened with the monsters I saw, but I can't even remember where now. [frowns, scratching at the side of his head]

[and thus Sam, head cocked to the side, curious as a child, pokes the stuff] Huh... 's cool. Viscous, but not sticky. Almost like elastic. Does it come off?

[a slight wince in his smile] I tried, but it won't move much at all. I can't wipe it off, and when I tried soap and water, the soap went right through it.

I think I've lost some of it. But the station's still working. Fumie and I think we've weakened Godzilla enough to take him down soon enough.

It'd be better off if anyone could see the things. I'm going to get kicked out of Karkassas if I have to keep scaring people away from them. I know a few places got eaten, but the damage could be worse.

What's a Godzilla?

It's a giant monster that attacked Tokyo. Fictional, that is. And this one monster really looks like Godzilla. Claws and everything.
