What the hell happened here and someone better tell me where my WDC is or you're all getting personally acquainted with the inside of a cell.

[Worn out by all the explaining.]

WDC? You mean Ms. Cartwright?

The vampire - Diva - went on rampage, Hunt.

No, I mean the Queen of Shiba. 'course I mean Cartwright.

[stiffens] I knew she wasn't any good. Can you give me details, Brig?

[calmly as ever]

I don't have all of them, unfortunately, but I do know there were a handful of bodies. Some of them had their blood drained, some of them had a hand through their chest. Bullets are ineffective in stopping her - though headshots slow her down for a short while. Rapid regenerative abilities. Enough strength to crush a gun.

[Long pause.]

She might have been killed the other day...I don't know. I haven't seen her since then, and I'm pretty sure I saw her during the fight.

The inside of a cell?

[nods, taking it all in] Any IDs on the bodies, then? [glances at the Brig's hip] Personal experience with the gun, I take?

Yeah, you know. Prison. The slammer. Behind bloody bars.

One of them was Miss Donna Noble. She's the only one I know of for certain. [the Brigadier nods] Dratted woman crushed my Webley.

[you do not tell the Guv one of his team might have been killed. it's a bad idea] She might have what?

[purses his lips] Bloody hell. The hell was I when this happened? [sighs, rubs his nose] I can fish around CID, see if I can find you another.

I figured that. Why, though?

She's since been revived. About a day ago. [he nods] Won't be the same.

[Realizes how insensitive that must have sounded. Calmly,] I know I saw her then, but she might have gotten away in time. I'm sure she did.

Diva went insane the other day--something happened to her in her own world. The fight got...out of hand. [Surveys all the blood.] I only know for sure that Roxas and the Brigadier were killed.

[Pauses.] And...Misaki. But that wasn't Diva. Anyway...everyone's back now, so...[Realizes how awful all that sounds and heaves a sigh.] It's alright now. Even Diva's back to normal.

[frowns] WDC? Your friend?

Guv... [Manages a smile that doesn't even wobble. How proud she is.] Haven't seen you in a few days.

[wryly] May be a bit difficult, considering most of us won't be able to see it.

If you give me a description I can keep an eye out.

{Diva doesn't have any idea what a WDC is, but she knows there's only one person here that Gene would look for. Diva's face clearly shows the trepidation she feels, but she won't come any closer.}

[listens stoically, jaw tight, lips set in a grim line]

I told him to be careful. Told him not to go near her. Because of this. And now you're telling me Cartwright might have been killed by the bloody woman Tyler's been hanging about with? Out of hand? [waves] This looks like a fucking war zone! Is one, if people died!

[reins in a moment at that one] What? The hell did you say happened to Kirihara? [gives him a very, very nasty look] And back or not, that broad is far from normal.

No. They never are. How's she handling it, outside the obvious changes?

Because I don't take lightly to having my team go disappearing on me, that's why.

She's not my friend. She's a member of my team and she's been missing the past couple days.

[coldly] Don't suppose you would have, now would you?

We'll figure that out when we come to it.

Bird, lots of curves, wears a PC's uniform and's got a bit of smack to her.
