i.

A familiar sight, this endless black expanse illuminated only by stars. Neither of light nor of darkness, but a place of twilight. Though Never Was and Oblivion come to mind, there is something which seems to render all such comparisons meaningless. A sense of unreality among the security of what is known. I would not be the least bit surprised if it turns out to be mere theatrics, done simply to add to the air of mystique. And I would feel the same if it was in actuality the key to unraveling the mystery of this "Astral Plane."

Of course, that is not to say I thought our meeting a triviality, Meredith. It was so very...informative.

If the nature of our surroundings cannot be relied on, then only the self can be trusted. For this place is not empty. Among the faces here may be found allies and enemies, both unknown and known.

But there will always be change.

There will always be plots.

And there will always be treachery.

(OOC: so i herd i are lazy. and replies may be somewhat slow due to chores. D:)

[applause] Oh, very good, very well done! You'd give anyone on the High Council a run for his money. Purple prose pontification with hints of actual meaning behind it; I am impressed. I liked that last bit particularly. Three lines, stand-alones, similar patterns, leads to a nice sort of artistic feel, don't you think?

[B| Guess who doesn't look too pleased]

Are you enjoying yourself, XI?

[OOC: So I herd I'm on hiatus and will pwn you at being slow on tags. Very, very slow. sjkhs ;D]

[Oh, Roxas sees another one of these men in black cloaks. He's eyeing Marluxia rather warily; he's still paranoid about being on the Astral Plane again. But does he know him too?]

[identity profile] glassboxmemory.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
You too, eh? Care to give me a name?

[identity profile] glassboxmemory.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Apparently I did. At least, that's what everyone else says.

[identity profile] frigidfourth.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
And just what are you planning to do here? [Hm, is that suspicion? Why, yes it is.]

I doubt experiments hold much interest for you.

[faint smile]

I believe you've just summed up most of the universe.

[as does he! Twin terrors of pontification!] A natural talent, then. Even more impressive. [and pops a jelly baby into his mouth]

[identity profile] frigidfourth.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
You know perfectly well.

[OOC: No worries, I do that all the time. XD; And yep.]

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[Nothing wrong with a little running and screaming! The Master glances over Marluxia, chewing on the jelly baby. When finished, he speaks (for he has proper manners)]

I've definitely seen that choice of clothing before. Aside from cults, I mean, because you get a lot of this sort of clothing at cults. It's almost tragic.

The world cannot be spoken of in a single color.

Keep to your own concerns- You've already had more than your say on matters regarding the replica.

[identity profile] frigidfourth.livejournal.com 2008-05-22 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
You may be in charge of Oblivion, but my rank still exceeds yours. That and the fact that the replica is one of my creations- I would know how to handle it, as well as how to understand the data and correct any potential mistakes; One failure during it's trial is easily corrected with a second test.

Don't make demands when you can't even understand the premise behind them.
